NEW RSW Coach "Frostie"

"Frostie" - The Tigerettes New Under 18 Grade Tigerettes Coach.

The Tigers are excited to announce the Clubs first ever appointment of a female Coach to one of our Tigerettes senior teams. A number of ladies have occupied assistant coaching positions of our various Tigerette teams but none as an actual coach.

Amy Frost moves into the Under 18 Grade Coaching position taking over from Kellie Hamilton who recently relinquished the position. He and his wonderful sporting family can now attend marches interstate which includes two daughters at the Sydney Swans AFW (Cynthia and Alexia), their recently drafted son Riley (GWS GIANTS) and last year's Tigerettes 1st Grade Leading goalkicker and Bainrot Medallist - Billie, who will be absent at times from the Tigerettes during the season having commitments with the GWS GIANTS and their development program / games.

"Frostie" has strong connections with the Club having come through our Junior ranks into senior grade footy playing 60 plus 1st Grade games and achieving success with two 1st Grade Premierships. Amy is one of the many father / son / daughter connections within the Tigers ranks. Father Michael having played senior footy in the eighties.

Club Vice Chairperson Mark Armstrong said: "We are confident Amy will be able to juggle her current senior grade Women's commitments with coaching our Tigerettes Under 18 Grade team. We wish her all the best in this new exciting adventure for one of our most popular Tigerette players".

Kel will remain as an Assistant Coach after taking the team to the Grand Final last season. We certainly thank him for those efforts along with the support of the rest of the family, in wife Josie - an avid supporter of the Tigers, and other daughters Jayde and Chelsie both of whom have played many senior grade games for the Tigerettes including a Bainrot Medal being awarded to Jayde in 2023.
